I stayed here for two weeks and Yes, this place is rough, yes this place is old, but the new manager is in the middle of a major overhaul and I don't believe I've every seen a business owner try so hard. They have installed new flat screen TVs, refrigerators, microwaves, and just had all the doors and locks replaced and they look great. They haven built a Hampton Inn in Ahoskie yet so when I work near there I'm stayin at the Chief!!!
